AM/PM Conventions used:
On those activity records where you enter a callback date and time, the
program uses this generally accepted convention in performing its indexing
and searching:
Definition of AM:
Midnight
Hour [12 hour clock] 12:00 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11
Hour [24 hour clock] 00:00 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11
Definition of PM:
Noon:
Hour [12 hour clock] 12:00 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11
Hour [24 hour clock] 12:00 13 14 15 16 17 18 18 20 21 22 23
If, for example, you wish to establish a callback time of 15 minutes after
midnight, you would enter this time:
12:15 AM
Intuitively, one might think to enter "00:15", though this would be
incorrect.
Another example would be in the instance where you wish to make an
appointment at 30 minutes after a noon lunch. You would then enter:
12:30 PM
As you create activities, you enter the callback times, if any, in an
AM/PM form. By default, all reports will then be printed out in this
format. If, however, you want the reports to display the callback time in
a 24 hour format, then go to this menu:
